<font color='#000000'>Well, first of all, I was driving my mother's 98 Grand Prix GTP Supercharged. &nbsp;I was coming out of the parking lot from work and pulling up to the redlight on highway 9 near Bi-Lo when some ricer pulls up in the lane beside me in a ricey ass 98 Prelude. I glance over at him and look back foward, not in the mood to mess with him. &nbsp;But, he apparently has a different idea. &nbsp;I hear him crack off a couple of revs as he looks over at my. &nbsp;I simply laugh at him, but he is bound and determined. &nbsp;So, I say, why not? The light turns green and I hear his dumb ass slip the clutch and nearly stall his engine. &nbsp;I pull off on him easily because of it. &nbsp;We pull up to a red light immediately after that and I look over at him and laugh. &nbsp;This pisses him off and as soon as the light goes green, we both punch it. &nbsp;The Grand Prix immediately started spinning like hell as the boost hit the pavement, but after a second or so, it catches and I take off. &nbsp;I looked ahead and didn't see the Prelude, so I glanced into my rear view to see him in the area of 4-5 car lengths, and I was barely at 60. &nbsp;Apparently, either he or his car was so shitty that I had passed him by quite a bit even while spinning. &nbsp;Seeing that he's not worth my time, I slow down, and I hear him running up beside me. &nbsp;Just as he is about to do a flyby, I punch it once more to pull another 1-2 car lengths. &nbsp;*sigh* Some people will just never learn. &nbsp;Anyway, that's my story, and I'm stickin' with it. <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'></font>

<font color='#000000'>umm..first off, &nbsp;howd ya know it was a 98 prelude? &nbsp;guess? &nbsp;and i was doing some checking on the specs of the pontiac..they have 240 horses...i was like wow, thats alot for a 4dr sedan...the prelude has 200...the guy must be a #### head of a driver...i say if he launched good and all..it should have been side-by-side...seeing as how u have 40 more horses, but also like 600 more lbs..i hate when ppl have nice/fast cars and cant drive them for ####..and then tend to ask me &quot;whyd u get an auto, 5spds are faster&quot;....only the people who cant seem to drive manuals ask me this dumb question...

<font color='#000000'>Our GTP is actually 2-door, and quite a bit lighter... with a modified pulley kit on the supercharger, so it's pushing a little more power than the stock 4-door.</font>

<font color='#000000'>I seriously doubt the prelude could have hung with me had he been a better driver. &nbsp;Even with my added weight, &nbsp;the modified pulley kit means I've got more horsepower over him by more than just a mere 40, and with the supercharger, I've got way better accel... When I can keep the tires from spinning... <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> THat seems to be my biggest problem with it... When I punch it and the boost hits the wheels off the line, they tend to spin. And yea, I was guessing it was a 98 or 99. &nbsp;It was definitly one of the two.</font>

<font color='#000F22'>GTP's (the supercharged ones) are capable of high 13's in the 1/4 with smaller dia. blower pullies and other &quot;small&quot; mods like air filter etc...

I'll tell you one thing about it, though. &nbsp;The tank on that bitch holds 25 dollars worth of gas... gah.</font>
