If he's running 1300 watts or more, he should hit at least 150dbs or more.

If I had to guess how loud it will be, id say in the neighborhood of 145-150.

so much for backpack room :) I'd say its worth it. More bass than I'd need though... now put an illstreet sticker on it!

hey you...stfu! :wiggle: i use it to haul 2 bookbags for school....and i use it to tote **** to UPS that i sold on EBAY or prelude sites...and i got a toolbox back there...as for the leak..i got a towel in corner, so it drips onto towel...when it rained a few weeks ago, i took towel out of trunk after it stopped raining an the towel was drenched like i dunked it into a swimming pool..it was totally soaked and still dripping...now thats a lot of water...oh crap..off-topic... :dunno: s-h-i-t happenes...

i wouldnt put subs in any of my cars...i dont like bass...the only time i would ever use it would be at redlights..just to show off...i dont think anyone can honestly say, that with the bass turned all the way up and booming like crazy...that they like their music like that..you cant really hear anything else but that..or at least, thats all you can focus on...its all in showing off IMO...my 6.5s in rear deck provide enough bass...i am more interested in mids and highs...now s-h-i-t, i will put 4-6 tweeters in my car in a minute.. :wiggle: ...its all in preference...

I have lots of bass in the 7, and mine is faster :)
my amp is just kind of tossed in there at the moment, at least I spent a while on the box. I'm going to fit it to the roll bar but it stuill wont be as nice as his :(

Im not really down with all that ridiculous hear me from a mile away bass, which is why i plan on sound deadening the hell out of my car soon, i just like music, and i like it clear.

hope no one rear ends the car. insurance wont cover your 500 pounds of sound.

And in addition, if you wanted your music "clear", why didn't you go for a sealed enclosure? Ported/Vented enclosures give sloppy bass, even with a W7. A sealed enclosure for a W7 at about 1.6 ft^3 per chamber would have given you much cleaner bass than a vented/ported enclosure designed for SPL purposes, not Sound Quality.

Deadening your car is going to give you more volume. When you use sound deadening, the sound will never escape; Providing a lot more bass "inside" the car and as soon as you let down the windows, it'll force the sound out.

Hope you don't go and spend $500 on some dynomat to deaden your whole car. My entire car is lined with pink panther insulation. Works like a charm and I spent $50 bux for it all.

Not sure where you got the idea its ported, but theyre both sealed. And no, i dont play on spending 500 bucks on dynamat, Im going to use secondskin, i can do the car with about 100 dollars worth, the guy who owns the company is on www.v6performance.net and www.caraudioforum.com so he gives forum members 50% off.

the box looks good man! but what are your future plans? sure sound is all good and what-not, but when are you gunna open the hood and play around?

Not really. Engine wise, theres the AEM V2 CAI, K&N Typhoon CAI, Injen CAI, Mangnaflow Exhaust, Borla Exhaust, and i think thats it. Comptech is working on a supercharger for it.

i bet Greddy is making a turbo kit for it as well. they make tons of things for honda's.

I doubt it, they didnt make one for the 6th gen accords.

Nah ben i dont think you need that much weight, subs are 50 lbs each... 100 lbs, i figure all the amps together are probably about 50 more, box and stuff is probably 75, so about 225 lbs or so.

that makes the car .2 secs slower. :wiggle:

I was pondering the same thing...W7s are aawesome speakers and very expensive...if you didnt want to be heard a mile away, but wanted clear, crisp sound, then there were many other name brands to choose from...
