Does anyone, ever owe anyone money for speaking whatever words they choose? NO FUCKING WAY.

That black kid saying there should be limmits on free speech is absolutely laughable.

And that money grubbing bitch in colorado who latched onto said black guy is out of her fucking mind. "we challenge him to let a retired judge decide what he should pay" Why not a real judge? oh yeah, because he did nothing illegal.

He didn't break the law. he doesn't owe those guys a damn cent. if he did pay them off it would probably just make him look worse in the public eye. so why on earth would he. The irreprable damage has already been done.

Why does it always come down to monetary restitution with these people? He fucked up and called them ******s, and now he's finished. quid pro quo, eye for an eye, blah blah blah.............

I'd say he's getting the worst end uf the deal. his actions made them famous, and ruined his career. The incident made a more positive impact on their lives than a negative one. But now they've got dollar signs in their eyes........

Black people are untouchable in the entertainment world, and anything above the lower class these days for that matter. If they aren't regarded as being MORE than equal you get crucified.

You're right, it's not like he worked much anyway. But aside from the ocasional gig opening for larry the cable guy, I doubt anyone in the overly sensitive "racial egg shell walking" world of TV and movies will be looking to hire him anytime soon.

Well. Yeah...I was told to watch Kramer's Krazy Krack at the Laugh Factory, or whatever it was. Reading the first line or two of it in news stories, I expected to be offended but I really wasn't offended at all.

My friends (comedians) and I have recently had a thing where racist humor is funny. Stuff about Blacks, Jews, Latinos (referred to as simply Mexicans), no group is immune(Carlos Mencia style).

Of course we only do this in front of each other, since we all know that the other is joking. We know that we don't really hate Jews or Blacks or Mexicans Latinos, but other people might not know this. If one of us were to go off on a rant about them god damn ******s say, on a stage for example, the audience wouldn't know what to think of the Jew jokes, and their first reaction would likely, and understandably be, to take offense.

Had one of us made those jokes in an impromptu fashion after comments made by a black man, then the audience's offense would be even more understandable. Making these jokes at such a bad time in front of an unexpecting audience would be very irresponsible, and the right thing to do would be to own up to it immediately and apologize from the bottom of their heart. Even if it was intended to be funny.

Obvious metaphors aside, I don't know if he was making a joke or if Richards is really a racist. Frankly, I don't care. I took it as a joke, I thought it was funny (especially the way he pronounced nigga about 2/3 of the way through) but ultimately, it was an innapropriate thing to say in front of an unsuspecting audience.
