I suggest you take another look at the Flames my friend. We're the hottest team in the NHL since December 1st, posting a 12-1-4 (that's a .824 winning percentage) record in our last 17 games. I remember moving out to my own place while in college. I had a Crappy TV and a Love seat that sunk in. So if you sat on one end, and she sat on the other, you'll both end up in the the middle in a few minutes :D Good times...

Yeah it is. The total bill is like 3600 or so. My insurance covers 100% of general shit (exams, xrays, cleanings), 85% of common shit (fillings, fluoride) and 65% of the lesser often shit (root canals, crowns, braces). It's the Premium Package through Delta Dental NJ and they do equal the suck.

I would agree that delta dental sucks for anything besides routine maint. for my 850 dollar crown I had to pay over 400

word.

Yea, don't buy that Phillips surround sound, it's a piece of shit. I've had two, both of which had the receiver crap out within 4 months. Spend a bit more money and get a Sony if you aren't going to get a component system.

I tried the demo of the Phillips in the store and it was nice. I tested the TV by itself to see how the sound was and it totally sucked. Otherwise, I just planned to buy a HD-DVD player. Can I use an HD-DVD player as a reciever and just buy speakers? I'm a n00b at home theatre setup.

Oh...I forgot to mention also (and this may change your mind 2nd) I fully intend to buy a 4 year service plan on the TV for 130 bucks and a 4 year replacement plan on the Surround Sound for 30 bucks. Couch has a lifetime guarantee to be stain proof so....meh.

You will still be disappointed with it. The Phillips is crap quality.

You need some form of receiver with the system, you can't just plug speakers into an HD/DVD player.

Well here I was using a tax refund calculator on Taxbrain.com. It said I would get ~2200. Here I am filling everything out to get ready to file ASAP...and it says I am getting like 750-850 bucks. I paid in 2417 am a full time student and only made $24644 taxable in 2007. I normally got every penny back with the college credits, but this year they fucked me over. I guess if I want the TV, Couch and Surround Sound, the refund isn't going to cover the whole thing. I'm pissed at the IRS and pissed at how the government fucks over a 21 year old guy making as little fucking cash as I am.

The calculator took into account the Earned Income Tax Credit which I do not qualify for...and evidentally, I can't get the fucking saver's credit on my 401k contributions of 953 bucks because I am a full time student.

I got fucked without even so much as a kiss.
