What kind of mods are comming on everyones cars in the next few months? Also has anyone done anything new to their car recently?

Im getting a pair of those things that scare the deer away I was close to hitting a couple this weekend on 26. Stealth mounted of course.

and a DOHC conversion kit with the big pistons.

well, lets see...  i bought an NA 89 Rx7 Gtu in October.  i got it running in 2 or 3 weeks, then drove it about a month and a half.  so about december, the engine went out.  i pulled it, rebuilt it, and put it back in.  pinched a water seal.  rebuild no good.  pulled it again, rebuilt it, engine seized.  ahh f*** it!  get a call from a friend.  just wrecked his TII.  buy car!  thats where im at now...  i should have finished the swap today, but i was a lazy ass.  oh well, theres always tomorrow.  after i get the engine in, i plan on small modifications, and then things to improve the driving enviornment.  1st, front mount the IC, and spray nitrous over it.  next, install all my Racing Beat goodies i have laying around (springs, turbo back exaust, sway bars, alt. pulley, TII shox, TII 4 piston brakes).  then like i said, enhance the driving enviornment.  race seat, 4 point harness, new steering wheel, roll cage.  save up money, then start trying to make some big power.  this will be around 6-12 months away, but i hope to go w/ a Haltech ECU, new turbo (not sure what), bigger IC, bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, fully adjustable shocks.  whoo, thats alot...

Lets see... it'll cost me about $5,000 to advance the HP any more in my car, so screw that! LOL

stock seats are very good, so no need for aftermarkets. &nbsp;A 4-5 point harness is in the near future. &nbsp;Along with a front strut tower bar, then i guess sway bars. &nbsp;I'm pretty content with how the car is now, so nothing major is planned. &nbsp;Just keeping her running right and healthy is my main concern now.

BTW, ben, did you see Jonathan's new car?!? &nbsp;i'm confused

Total moeny invested in car once every thing is done :
less than 7,500 + 6100 dollar car = 13,600 rocket.

I dont think you want the 6 speed. Very week. Raced one with that. Nice but not as good as the 5. Also its very weak. Read up! Today I bought a 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan with my insurance money and I already have a 2001 Dodge Viper GTS engine on backorder for it. *Should be a fairly mean grocery getter. *This van will be getting stripped too....just not for the track.. *<img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

I'm going to enjoy seeing this! lol...I can't recall the last time my car felt it had some competition from a minivan --or the time i thought id see you driving one.. haha

i wont say what im getting done yet, but all i have to say is i love tax returns. and dad is finally lendig me some cash to make my car go vrooom faster. and im also gonna be a 8 second all motor car but without the v tec effect.

I am prolly gonna lower my car next. &nbsp;I am getting springs this weeks. &nbsp;Then I am gonna get a camber kit and some shocks.

Who do you know that has a s15 6 speed in a 240 ?

There was one at The Rock at the last event i went to up there. It was nice but not what i thought it would be. Plus...do research. Slidesquad Mark talks about it on the Slidesquad page. Gears arent all that they are made to be. The 5 speed is just enough...

He ran a in the mid 14s and didnt impress me much...But theres many more 240s with different times and guys with different opinions.
