here's something that will be of interest.

the best part IMO was when he tossed it out of the airplane.

I knew Glocks were tough as nails and I've seen similar tests, but the rust and bulletproof tests, the airplane toss, and dragging it behind his truck were all pretty incredible.

Has anyone here shot a glock? How does it compare to a 9mm Bereta (sp?)or 1911?

I have fired several Glocks, and they are sweet. But I couldn't compare them. 1911s have a 'solid' feel.

first semi autos I learned to shoot where the 1911's, and I'll probably never go without having one. But the next handgun I buy is most likely going to be a Glock. I'll just have to get used to shooting a 2x4 with a trigger.

Supper... IF you look around there are several companies that do grip reductions to the glocks... some even place 1911 front straps and checkered mainspring housings in the frame to replicate the feel... Still that trigger will never be the same as a finely tuned 1911
