I can't tell you how many times ive heard kids who've never even stuck their pee-pees inside of a vagina let alone hold a gun before argue about how awesome the DEAGLE is, and its the best gun ever made and the DEAGLE can do no wrong, and even god himself uses a DEAGLE and so does satan cause it's just that damn good.

I for one hate the DE, much better guns out than that.

aside from low capacity and the incredible weight of the gun, i have heard they are horridly unreliable... all they are good for is sitting in a case...

I had one before, and it was basically only good as a novelty. At the range, everyone would hear it and ask what the hell I was shooting. Heavy as hell, and bigger than practical for holstering. The only thing about that gun that has any appeal is the way it looks. I didnt care for the accuracy either. It had a few FTE's, but didnt FTF on me....then again, I didnt shoot it much before I got rid of it anyways. The only reason I even ended up with one is that I knew a guy who wanted to get rid of his, so I lowballed him and he took my offer. People who dont know what it is are fascinated by it, and people who know what it is could basically not care less. I havent ever touched one of the baby eagle line of pistols, but I have not heard very many good things about them either.

Id rather own a Kel-Tec PF11 than a DE.

A lot of proving self defense lies in what weapon you defend yourself with. Alot easier to defend you shooting someone with a Glock 30 than you shooting someone with a DE. Court is gonna wonder why you walk around with an arm cannon looking for trouble.
