Yeah, the Yamaha RX1 and Apex are bad ass sleds, but they are tanks. The problem I see with them is burying it in the powder, you will be stuck until spring time because there is no way you are lifting that front end out of the deep fluffy. Twosmokes are still alive and well in the snowmobile industry, they are actually burning cleaner now then a lot of four strokes out there. YearsOfDecay 01-25-2006, 08:40 AM I own an RD350 (its the street bike that the banshee motor came from) and its a blast to rip around on. BUT.... i've ridden several worked out RZ500's over at my buddys house.. and thats one step short of strapping a rocket to your ass!!!!!!!!!!! This guy looks like an old amishman, but in his garage he has 5 RZ500's about 10 RD350s, a couple RZ350s, TWO suzuki Gamma's, and a Honda NSR.... He figured out how to import them to the US from Canada and make BIG MONEY reselling them... the dick! |
