http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/14/science/14WAVE.html?pagewanted=all

At the southern end of Madagascar lie four enormous wedge-shaped sediment deposits, called chevrons, that are composed of material from the ocean floor. Each covers twice the area of Manhattan with sediment as deep as the Chrysler Building is high.

On close inspection, the chevron deposits contain deep ocean microfossils that are fused with a medley of metals typically formed by cosmic impacts. And all of them point in the same direction — toward the middle of the Indian Ocean where a newly discovered crater, 18 miles in diameter, lies 12,500 feet below the surface.

The explanation is obvious to some scientists. A large asteroid or comet, the kind that could kill a quarter of the world’s population, smashed into the Indian Ocean 4,800 years ago, producing a tsunami at least 600 feet high, about 13 times as big as the one that inundated Indonesia nearly two years ago. The wave carried the huge deposits of sediment to land.

.... the article continues.

No, actually you only know your truth that you've been so sadistically bent toward.

Mark,

He does have a very valid point.

There has been a great many times that u and ur beliefs have been questioned on this forum and the other forum and u have failed to answer them logically.

One example that comes to mind is how did Noah feed the Meatasaurus' and other meat-eaters and maintain a 2-of-each animal policy on that yacht.

Surely the size of the yacht must be big enough to accomodate this massivesaurus' and such large quad-pod land yachts.

coming from a host of borderline illogical people indoctrinated in evolutionary myths, doesn't that follow naturally?

we've been over these ancillary, nit-pick questions about the Genesis account many times....they never end....the ark was massive, there was plenty of room

let's hear a logical rebuttal to what I posted above about the geological evidence (problem is, no one here has studied that evidence, they only know what they have been told)

I've heard both sides of it, and studied both sides of it....I'm the only here who has

Ark was massive enough to house that many animals, let alone dinosaurs?

And how many people built it?

If I recalled, it was immediate family, right?

Sure u've heard both sides, but it's more than evident onur history of posts that ur sujective towards the bible........

Where was the ark built, approximately?

If God banished his people from the Garden, why would he spend thousands of years leading them back?

What was the climate like there back then? What kind of wood was used again? If I remember, he had to travel quite some ways to get it?

So it was lush temperate/humid? (Like I thought).

How, then, did the cut wood last 120 years?

I did not know that rattlesnakes were indigenous to North Africa? What killed the plesiosaurus?

If God banished his people from the Garden, why would he spend thousands of years leading them back?

to give god time to weed out the inferior races, producing the Masters Race that will be rewarded for having good blood in a thousand year reich. freed from the contamination of the mudbloods.

yes....and it took 120 years

Oh, yeah...... 120 years is the half life of these sans-foreskin fockers........

what would u rather have?

before the re-truncation of the gene pool down to one family, human life spans were much longer

before god murdered every pregnant woman on the planet people lived long enough to figure out what god was up to, and rejected his "morality" {be my slave or I will kill you} he couldn't have that... so he killed them all.
