Anybody know anything about it? I only ask because I just recently realized that that is the Church which I was baptized into.

He didn't ask for your proselytizing, he asked for info on a specific topic. Here is what you want. http://artemis.crosslink.net/~hrycak/histucc.html

It was info on the church he asked about. That doesn't mean it is the best religion in the world. It sounds like he's trying to make his own decision.

I'm sorry if my vocabulary is above the average level and I used "proselytizing" word instead of "preaching". Next time someone asks a question, maybe you should be helpful and answer it before you berating them. If you had found the info for him then tried to explain you side of things it would come across better.

Why not? You can then point out the errors and educate someone better. Or better yet, post material from both sides so he can figure out the truth for himself instead of you telling him.

while baptism is an important sacrament, it's far more important that whatever church community you belong to teaches and practices sound Biblical doctrine, and that pretty much eliminates most catholic institutions...no offense, just the truth

you can always be re-baptized....make sure you join a community of believers that hold to what is right....more important than tradition

Titus 1

...hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that [you] can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it
What part of that does not qualify as "to recruit or convert especially to a new faith, institution, or cause"

I'm not trying to "convert anyone", because I don't have anything to do with God working in the heart and mind of anyone

but we do stand for the Truth

WE do stand for the truth?

Who ya got running around in your head?

it's the internet, don't take it too seriously

That's the best advice I've heard from you yet.

Edit: Damn, I just got in an internet argument. I feel so retarded.

The Ukrainian Catholic Church became (and still remains) the largest Eastern Church in communion with Rome.

yike, bearded dudes wearing jewel encrusted dresses.

I traded posts with an eastern orthadoxer who largly nullified gods culpability for the evil in the bible by painting a wildly different vision of satan and his relation with god than the american version of satan well illustrated by yzf.
