Who do you think is going to win?

Palin isn't doing a good job answering questions but I kinda like were she trails off to.

There was one point when I was looking at Palin's eyes. Every time the camera panned around back, I couldn't believe what a nicely formed ass the woman has at 44. Biden seemed like he choked up and fought back tears at one point. I give it to Biden, although not by as much as I thought it would be.

Biden killed this one (moreso in the second half after he shut her down HARD. I coulda swore I heard "Oh snaps" in the crowd). lol, I give points to Palin for not failing hardcore like 80% of the population thought she was going to, but I can't say she won this one simply because she proved to be competent and likable.

Biden had answers and plans, Palin had ideas and obvious suggestions. I may have to take back what I said about Biden being slimy after this one.

Though I find it pretty curious that both tickets go like this:

O/B - Inexperienced lead/experienced backup
M/P - Experienced lead/inexperienced backup

In the likely case that something could happen to either (via assassination or the grim reaper finally picking up that pager call), I can't help but find myself more comfortable with Biden taking the helm rather then Palin. I haven't decided yet on where my vote lies, but after that dismal first debate it was great to see some fireworks and hard lining.

Advantage (once again): Obama/Biden

I agree but I think Palin might have swayed more votes to the right with her performance tonight.

I say she won. Fox news had a poll: Palin 86% Biden 12%

Let the flames begin about Fox but they were still voted the most unbiased news agency covering the elections.

Biden did well but killed it for me when he started crying. WOW. It didn't work for Hitlary, why does he think it will work for him?
Crying to win votes is just lame.
Palin defended her stance and stuck to her guns. Especially the environment part of it. Sorry Joe, you took a position on something that hasn't been proven.

Wow, she really impressed! But that's maybe partly because the media here is very polarized in favor of the democrats...

"too often government is the problem rather than the solution."

Oh, most def. I mean, I'm sure she's definitely proven folks who thought she was an airhead wrong, and if I wasn't such a critical dude of every little detail of her performance last night (staring straight at the camera instead of responding face to face with Biden or the moderator to reach out to the public, campy good 'ol time routine that Bush has already used to try and associate himself with the everyday person; just about everything she did last night was to prove herself to everyone that she wasn't a ditz and could stand firm, be it successful or not.)

However, I don't believe her performance was quite the groundbreaker that FOX or any other McCain/Palin supporters seem to suggest. Sure, neither McCain or Obama answered their questions in full during their debate on quite a FEW occasions. But openly stating that you aren't going to answer the way the moderator or the questions ask for (feigned Maverick-ism) while your opponent answers with clear and concise responses isn't the way to go during a highly anticipated event like last night. It just came off to me as "I've got scripted answers that will generally cover whatever you may ask, but gosh-darn-it I'm a Maverick so I'm gonna make it seem like I just don't give a dang." (Flanders, anyone?)

A convincing and surprising play at support for anyone who was shocked she could surpass her lowered expectations, but she ended up losing a few points on my scorecard. Good female candidate she is, but Hilary she ain't.

Also to note: Did anyone notice that no matter how many direct pop-shots Palin took at Biden, Biden did not ONCE attack her openly? Instead he took aim at the party and McCain, in what I believe was a deliberate move to not come across as chauvinist or demeaning to women. Hell, he even played to the average female with his story of knowing what it's like raising kids on his own. It's kinda sad that there's a bit of a double standard going if that's the case, but I still give extra kudos to Biden for hitting his target points while keeping Palin out of the line of fire.

I'm not saying everything he said was truth, or that either of the two aren't just saying shit to win (who do you think you're talking to here, after all? I've never been just some Blue vs Red or vice versa guy.)

I'm strictly looking at these debates from a neutral party looking to gain information via the candidates performances (ie. the middle-ground folk). And if it's one thing you or anyone else cannot dispute, it's this:

Politics are a popularity game. Doesn't matter who's the biggest liar, if that liar can impress the people the most, they win.

And like it or not, Biden was really the only guy who actually stayed along the lines of the debate questions. Hence, my statement.

If I was thinking with my dick and a mindset of "which candidate would I want to fuck the most", then Palin wins hands down. lol

5 weeks against 25+ in the Senate Im gonna say she did just fine. Also Biden is so full of shit its ridiculous, he was quoted as saying he would be honored to run with McCain.

And in a 2005 appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” Biden in an answer that was excerpted in the recent McCain ad, said that he “would be honored to run with, or against, John McCain, because I think the country would be better off — be well off no matter who ...”

Stewart interrupted him, saying “Did I hear with?”

When Biden began to offer a noncommittal answer, Stewart pressed him.

“Don’t become cottage cheese, my friend. Say it.”

And Biden responded, “The answer is yes.”

Politicians say a lot of things in the beginning. I believe Biden also was quoted as saying some things against Obama when he was running for the top slot.

Gotta do what you gotta do for that prize. lolz

Who do you rather bang: Sarah Palin or Judge Marilyn Milian?

I really do not think there is a winner or a loser in the VP debate..Biden rambled off what he knew and took from his long winded experience to knock McCain all night. Palin showed that she is more in tune with the general public. What she lacks in knowledge she makes up for in being down to earth and actually being 'one of us' in my opinion. Biden was a lawyer, has been in congress/senate for 30+ years. He makes more money then I ever will in a year, although his past may have shaped who he is today and may know what it is like not to have money or healthcare...it has been a long time.

There is too much placed on 'which party do you belong to' and not enough on we know what you are dealing with. They may say they know but they do not live the lifestyle as most low-middle class Americans do, therefore they are out of touch.
