Of course it is, they spent all their money making that table.

That table is so badass that I bet during the times of Arthur and his roundtable, they used it to discuss strategies to fight dragons and beavers.

Terrh

I'd probly spend days thinking of ways to show off that damn thing to anyone that passes by outside.

"Hey stranger! You thirsty? Just let me make some more room in here....."

I wish I knew who made that, I want that table too.

BATMAN

Maybe your savings + the NSX + the FD will get the cheap one.

Transformers, robots in disguise.

"Oh wow! That robot warrior transformed from a table to... a... bigger table. Never mind."

that table looks like it will mash up your fingers if you're not careful while transforming it.

Palumbo

someone will lose a finger from that table

Cosby

I'd put a motor in it and have a secret switch where I sat.

Awesome, now who wants to help me design one that I can build for myself, for a lot less moneysss

Manntis

pretty sure they can be made for less than the $69,000 asking price, but they're probably patented to the hilt.

Terrh

hopefully they are patented
and with detailed pics of how the mechanism works.

Makes it that much easier to make one for yourself. I'd love one of these.

007 villians will procure that table and have other implementations in mind.....

That is a mighty hot table, thats something you would want to bust out at the begining of an important meeting...... "lets see here, we need another table in here.... oh wait a sec, check this sh*t out!"

Manntis

Yup, patented: http://www.google.com/patents?vid=USPAT6994032&id=Ghp3AAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4#PRA1-PA19,M1

US patent 829439 issued 1906 is similar but not as cool.

and here's one designed in 1840 - which makes you wonder how DB Fletcher can claim heavy patents on his...

I wonder how "round" the outer edge looks after expansion, it looks fine in that video but it might look goofy in person.

Manntis

Sort of a rounded dodecagon, from the looks of their patent diagrams.
