Tofuball 11-28-2006, 08:19 AM I want to trade my mountains of FC RX-7 parts/services for tools.
I litterally have a van full of RX-7 parts (Manifolds, turbos, engine parts, Volvo/Supra/FD FMICs, FD twins, S4/S5 NA/TII Diffs and Trannies, etc etc)
I have two eaton M90 Twisted-Rotor Helical Roots blowers, one rebiult, one ported. (I was planning to use them both on my Vanagon, but then I got my hands on a Lysholm)
I will provide porting and rebiuld services by mail, but I wont tune your car unless you bring it to me, and I won't biuld you a wiring harness unless you bring the car.
I'll also trade tools for tools, (I've got Snap-On, Matco, MAC, S&K, Craftsman, etc etc) or pay outright if nessisary.
Also, I'll sell this stuff for money, and I do take PayPal.
If pictures are wanted, they can be posted!
ANYWAY! The things I'm looking for are:
I'm looking for bench tools, such as a decent bench grinder/wire wheel, and a belt sander.
I'm looking for more air tanks for my compressor. Pig tanks are fine, but bigger is preffered. I'll take a whole compressor if I have to. :P
I wouldnt mind trading for ball-bearing tool cabinets, but I'm not particularly in the market for them, though I wont turn down a good deal.
Strange tools are a big plus, I love strange or antique tools.
I could use a spring compressor, torque sticks,
I'll even take tools I already have duplicates of, as long as they are of a decent quality.
Air tools are great, hand tools are great, quality tools are great.
Tofuball 11-28-2006, 08:23 AM Oh yes, I also have five 19 inch CRT monitors.
You can have those for FREE (or trade, if you're feeling nice) if you pick them up, but SOON (Thursday afternoon is a good time to pick them up)
Tofuball 11-28-2006, 12:35 PM Sure, whatcha want?

What I got to trade, that I can think of right now is, 36" Snap On prybar black handle, 434M 1/2" impact gun MAC(new style). Both used the prybar is in real good shape.

I'll get back to you on that this weekend.

Hey, I take money too :P
Homer: "Aww man, twenty dollers? I wanted peanuts"
Brain: "$20 can buy many peanuts!"
Homer: "Explain how!"
Brain: "Money can be exchanged for goods and services!"
Homer: "WOO!"
Tofuball 12-01-2006, 05:35 AM Kinda.
Let me check on what I can get you first and how much it's worth.
I gotta wait till the weekend for that anyway :)
skydivr7673 12-01-2006, 06:07 AM talk to me about those Eaton M90's you have....prices??
Tofuball 12-01-2006, 07:28 AM For you guys, I'll say $210 each, tested and good, they don't need work, the ported one is only a mild port (I can change that, should you wish) but it needs a new front pully.
The couplers on both of them are in prime condition, no cracks or even shavings.
Go ahead, try and find a better price :)
Want pictures?
$100T2 12-01-2006, 08:06 AM I could custom build you a workbench. I'm in the middle of doing one right now.
And you all should join my www.rx7classifieds.com site, dammit!
Tofuball 12-01-2006, 08:19 AM I could custom build you a workbench. I'm in the middle of doing one right now.
Already have one tho, thanks :)
$100T2 12-01-2006, 08:35 AM I'm glad you said no, it's a LOT of work to do the one I'm doing now. :)
Tofuball 12-01-2006, 08:38 AM I wouldnt want to have to pay for shipping either :D
It's a good offer, as good workbenches don't just grow on trees.
$100T2 12-01-2006, 06:26 PM I'm doing this one with a stacked 2 x 4 counter top that looked pretty cool in my "Family Handyman" magazine.
The counter top is 18 2 x 4s glued/screwed together on their sides, then I'll be sanding them flush and probably putting epoxy on them.
Tofuball 12-01-2006, 11:01 PM pix?
$100T2 12-02-2006, 10:09 AM Sure, soon. I'm sanding it down today.
beefhole 12-03-2006, 07:19 PM Exactly how much of a TII rear end do you have? Come april 07 I am going to start my TII swap, and I will need to do the drive train. Do you have the rest of the drivetrain parts (shaft, rear end, half shafts)?
Tofuball 12-04-2006, 07:24 AM I _CURRENTLY_ have two full drivetrains.
But I just started to tear down one of the transmissions to rebiuld it.

Why sand when you have a planer?
I've done the first third of the top, and it's almost as smooth as glass.
Holy shit.
And to think, I bought that planer a year ago and never used it. Glad I have it.
On a side note, Tofu do you have any aftermarket T2 springs?
Tofuball 12-04-2006, 04:34 PM Yeh . . .
. . . on my TII :P
But I have some stockers in relitively good condition here. I could clean them up and paint them some bright orange or green color with some engrish on them.
I shall call them "Tofuball Springz: bounce of next generation and fast"
And they will be $50 for a set ;)
beefhole 12-04-2006, 06:44 PM If you still have your stuff come april, I would like to buy it. :)

I'm looking at buying a T2, and the back is sagging... I know it needs springs.

I like my eibach springs, good street spring.
I wouldnt reccomend it at all for the track though :)
Tofuball 12-05-2006, 07:51 AM If you still have your stuff come april, I would like to buy it. :)
Sure thing :0
Also, I get new stuff in all the time, so just ask about it when you need it.
Tofuball 12-05-2006, 09:39 PM Hello!
I havent forgotten about you
Just all my stuff is in boxes and I'm working hard to get it all sorted (I moved recently)
I havent found anything you've asked for yet. But I know somone who does, if you PM me your phone number I'll relay it to him (Or I can give you his phone number if you are more comfortable with that)

The only thing I really want to be Snap-On is the impact swivel sockets, but I might end up buying a set tomarrow, because the job I am in the middle of is being a PITA without them. I will let you know. The others can be MAC, SK, or Snap On.
Also I have a Knipex(through MAC) Raptor I might be willing to trade.
I can PM you my e-mail if that works, otherwise looong distance.
Got the impact swivels today, still looking for diesel service tools, crowfoots, and half moon wrenches.

Tofuball 12-12-2006, 08:59 AM Got the impact swivels today, still looking for diesel service tools, crowfoots, and half moon wrenches.
Call my buddy Mark Stuart at 301-898-1705 and tell him what tools you need.
Don't call too late or early though :P
I buy as much from him as I can, he's got fantastic prices on some really high quality stuff.
