Here's a thought. It seemed to me that Afghanistan was too easy. Conquering it didn't exactly make up for the loss of the 9/11 attacks. Sure, we didn't get Osama, but the country was a push over. Some folks needed to overcome something bigger and Iraq proved to be the perfect foil.


What pisses me off is the number of dead from roadside bombs and suicide bombers. I'm not dredging up Vietnam, but it seems to me that a few people need to be made an example of. What argument would the protestors have if this crap wasn't happening? Granted, you probably can't stop suicide bombers, but we should be able to do something about the IEDs. The reason is that the Iraqis are not suffering enough to give up the troublemakers. We should stop pussy footing and get it over with. Same with Israel.
