go work in an industry that does that.

MY usual schedule is acutally 5 - 10's but the majority of the facilities I work on are rotating 4 - 10 schedules

1/3rd the crew on mon - thurs another 1/3rd on wed - sun and the other 1/3 on thurs - mon

that way every thursday they have full strength crew, yet they can still cover the weekends when the equipment is still running and public is on the mountain.

I think we should do what the Europeans do... 3 hour lunch breaks!

I'll be happy to work 7 - 11 then 2 - 6 every day.

You should look into working for the IT department for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Non-exempt employee's (IT area is non-exempt IIRC) work either 5 days a week 8 hour days, or 4- 10 hour days with your choice of days off. When I was still front line, I worked mon and tues, took weds off, then worked thurs and fri. Just when the week started to get unbearable, I had a day off. Best perk is you can trade your day off with someone else. So if I didn't want weds off, I could trade for a friday, etc.
