So a local rotor head put 5 lug setup with wheels/tires, calipers, rotors, proportioning valves, brake booster on my car a few days ago. The brake pads sucked but It was drivable enough to get home.

I go to get the pads at Orieley's (first mistake) The backs are in stock but the fronts are not, so they order them. A few days later I get the fronts, throw them in the truck and go get the 7 to take to Tomball muffler and brake to get the rotors turned. I get there and drop everything off. They call after ~1 hour and say the fronts are the wrong ones, so I pick them up and make the manager at Orieley's get the right ones asap. (I told them the EXACT year and that its 4 piston and they still managed to fuck up) They deliver them to the brake shop themselves.

A few hours later I go to pick the 7 up. (<- lol) They tell me that one of the rotors wasnt coming out right but he finally got it smooth. I got in and left (second mistake). I go to work. The car is making some weird noises, during left handed turns something makes a loud noise in the front right. The pedal is alittle soft, I thought they just needed to be bleed better. Well I leave work and go home. The pedal kept getting softer and softer. I was harldy able to stop from 20 mph at a stop sign, and getting it in the driveway and stopped was interesting. So I think WTF did they do!!! I go to look at the rotors. Got it smooth my ass! The front right looks horrible, its like chatter from the cutting and you can feel it easily with your finger. So not only did they screw up majorly with the brakes, but they lied about the rotor. level up to L2 douchebag!

I check the brake fluid resivoir... EMPTY wtf?

They aren't open tommorrow so my plans for that day are shot to hell. And now I will have to tow it to the shop, and they can pay for it. They fucked up now its time to suffer. Had the brakes failed completly 2 minutes before I would have ended up in some truck's tailgate or in a ditch.

Side note: when I went to pick it up he said it smokes alot. It only does that when you go over 3500 rpm when its not warmed up. So they also dogged on my car when it wasnt warmed up, fucking great. And later, for the first time EVER it wouldnt start.

And now it squeaks alot and shakes some too. They killed my 7. :(

Damn, you need to learn to do this shit for yourself or find a decent shop. I help people out in situations like this so they don't get screwed, but it's a little late for you. The guy that did the 5 lug swap should have finished the job.

Get a lawyer? LOL!

why "LOL"

lets see

normal person takes car to a shop
says turn my rotors and bleed the brakes
an hour later he gets in an accident because the rotors are fucked to shit and the MC is empty

you could definitely sue the shit out of someone for that.

wrong. me and the other guy that did the job(for free btw) had a limited amount of time because monkey had to go to work later that day, or else we would have gladly "finished the job" the next day after the parts were had....

we bled the brakes twice with an air comp. it was all in the parts.

i saw the rotors and they did a SHITTY job.

Yeah it was fine, minus the worn pads when we did the swap. But once the shop touched it, things magically fell apart. :dunno:

The rotors need to be redone for sure. If they say they are too thin now, they can pay for new ones. But, why would they flat out lie to me and say the rotors were done and smooth? That pisses me off more than the rotor being done bad.

O well, it is getting fixed tommorrow.
