Been here a little over 3 weeks now. this is the first time that ive been able to use the internet since i got overhere. been really busy. i arrived here on a wednsday, and started school that friday. i have classes from 730 to 530 mon-fri, im taking 27 units.

other then that, im having a great time. there are 4 other americans in my classes so im not too far from home. i went out for the first time last weekend. went to a hookah bar then a drinking bar. i had 3 beers, 3 shots of lemon drop, a sex on the beach, and shared a pitcher of some drink...all of these cost me only 8 dollars. im older than most of the girls in my classes because i am in first year classes. they start college here at around age 16-17. i dont want to boast, but im pretty popular here at school already. im a 6'1 filipino guy, and apparently, girls go nuts over guys like me (tall filipino americans). girls take pictures of me on their cell phones when i walk by. groups of girls would call my name, i would smile and wave, and they would scream, its hilarious.

I'm staying in Cebu. It's down south from Manila. It's alot nicer here, there is always a cool breeze, people are more relaxed (as opposed to the business environment of Manila), and the beaches here are alot cleaner.

YZF is 100% right, there are many beautiful women here. Of course, if your looking for tall blonde, blue eyed women, your out of luck. But if your one looking for mixed culture, such as half filipina half white/spanish/chinese, there are tons here. Personally, i've had it with white women, =p.

First things first. I made the deans list at my college. Of about 300 students, there were about 25 or so that made it, and I barely did, but I won't be on it for much longer since I'm getting my ass handed to myself this semester, I'll pass without a problem, but without flying colors unfortunately.
No girl my age (a girl that is enrolled in a college of nursing/pharmacy/medicine, etc...the girls I usually meet) wants a big relationship at this point of their school career...All the better for me. I have slept with 4 amazing women, each very special in their own way and they are just great overall. I still keep contact with a few of them, and one of them is my best friend here, she always helps me with things relating to me being a foreigner here, shes great. I still don't have HIV or any other STD and I don't plan on getting any soon, ha.

My weekdays are pretty shitty, wake up at 6, school at 7, go home at 6, eat, study, sleep at 11. Weekends is where I am able to recharge.

Lets take a look at my typical weekend day, Friday in particular:

I get home at 6pm and take a shower. Usually I have a maid that will make me dinner every night, but I am always out and about on weekends so no dinner on Friday nights. During the day I am talking to lots of people about the plan for the night. I break it down in the course of the day and decide among going out with a girl or with my group of friends (i keep the girls and friends separate for now). Usually I go out with a girl and we hit up the mall for dinner or an outdoors bbq grill. I love bbq, so I always dig "Kaona Grill". I always get the chicken breast with rice, only costs 60peso/$1.20 and satisfies me for 3-4 hours. After dinner we hit up the bar or meet up with my girls' friends. I'm one of the bigger people here (6'1) so I tend to be the lookout for the girls who like to go out with me. After the bar, we are usually done around 1-2am, so I go home. 1/4 the time I take the girl home, sometimes I just want to wake up alone the next morning, hehe.

If I'm with friends, we still go to the bars, but this time I'm able to mingle with the crowd and try and meet a few new people.

Although the bars are great, there are other things to do as well. Lots of nice views, beaches, bowling (i love bowling hehe), billiards, street racing, etc.

Christmas and New Years was great also. Lots of food during Christmas, and a shitload of fireworks on New Years.

Overall, it's been a great experience. The lifestyle really sucks here, but it doesn't really affect me that much since I get use to it. 5 dollars a day is all you need to eat 3 meals a day, transportation is cheap if you don't have a car, bars are cheap as fuck and the local beer is only 40 cents a bottle, and the beer is damn good.

I do miss friends and family back home, but I have to do this for my future...but even then, it's not such a bad trade.

As for "the" girl...I found one in my college that I am physically attracted to, but not yet emotionally. She is kind of shallow when it comes to looks when it comes to guys. Luckily I am considered good looking here, so she is giving me the time of day. My American friend here asked her out and she wouldn't even return his texts that he sends her. He is a pretty hefty guy (5'6, 240lbs) so I kinda understand her logic. But as for me and her, I find her to be the most hilarious girl I have ever met, she is gorgeous and seems to take a liking to me. I'm going with the flow with this one, so I'll see where this takes me.

I know I don't have your "evidence", but I don't walk around with a camera all day like I am a fucking tourist. If I get a chance to take a picture, then I will, but I'm not looking to impress anyone on this forum by taking pictures of the women I meet. If I settle down, then I'll send pictures, but for now, just hope that you get some sooner or later. I do have a few pictures to show, but photobucket isn't working well for me right now.
