Here's the vid.

Yeah, I know I'm slow, but don't expect me to drop anymore money into that car.
2ndGen.Rocket 07-06-2007, 11:01 PM The car sounds pretty good man
Thanks. I haven't actually heard this clip myself. I don't have speakers here.
Not bad for a 2001 GT on stock gears.
Poorman's Bikini Beach was filming yesterday. Some girls went down the track wearing bikinis on small bikes.
SpartanTS 07-06-2007, 11:07 PM Nothin like a Stang takin down the Goat.
I want to see what my Jaguar will run, but I'm gonna wait until I get some bolt ons at least. I'm pretty sure I'll get the factory rating of 15.5 in the 1/4 mile, so right now I have no reason to go...
It's an older GTO. The new ones should beat my butt.
You can always try to beat the factory times.
I'm racing my bone stock 06 Civic LX against my buddy's 08 Scion TC next week. The wifey will be racing the stang.
Its amazing what a little bottle will do.
czarofzar 07-07-2007, 07:11 PM Pretty cool!
I didn't even have the bottle in the car Tony. I did this on all motor.
that would have made a far more interesting vid :)
seriously, though, what is your estimated hp? the GTO is such a big pig, I test drove one and was not impressed considering it has 400 crankshaft
It was kinda dark by the time the girls came out.
My car has 250 something hp to the rear wheels and 300 lb ft torque without the bottle. It's definately not fast. I hit 8.8s in the 1/8, but I'm sure if I launch it just right it will hit 8.6. Again, it's nothing to write home about.
The GTO in the video is an older model and I believe it produces 300 something HP not 400 like the newer ones.
Anyone want to buy a slightly used nitrous kit? I don't feel like breaking anything before I make a good size dent on my mortgage balance.
Has a regular 5.7 LS1, not the 6.0 LS2...
cool_as_crap 07-08-2007, 01:07 AM Cool vid
Yeah, most new GM "muscle" cars are heavy. I don't get it. I can beat 2007 340 hp Charger RTs without trouble and my car is no lightweight at about 3200-3300lbs. The SR-T models are a different story.

That isn't GM :gay2:.
And GM doesn't have a whole lot of new muscle cars, except the GTO, which is rather beefy. I hope the new Camaro is lighter than it's predecessors, 'cause that car is sex on wheels. :boobies:
Where the heck is my brain this morning? Thanks for correcting me Cool.
Just to clarify, I do know that Dodge makes the Charger and Pontiac (GM) makes the GTO.
:D
Tran Tran Tran Transformers.
I'm so glad my parents had cable back in the 80s. Transformers, Heman and Thundercats were and are gay. :D
I'd love to buy a 6.0L gto... I don't like many new cars... regardless of weight anything with an LSx has LOTS of potential.
clean85owner 07-08-2007, 02:40 PM I like your 'Stang. The color scheme is excellent.
Thanks. I wasn't expecting that.
LS7 FTW.
