91lx 01-06-2002, 01:54 AM I was up in Asheville cruising on Friday night and raced this 98 GT in my 96 GT. After we raced, we pulled over and talked about racing and etc. He said the fastest car around Asheville is a new Camaro SS with all the LS1 bolt ons and 150-shot nitrous. I was wondering if anyone knows who Im talking about and what he runs. The only one I've seen looks good but only runs like 8's Im thinking it should at least be running in the 7's. You can do basically anything up there and get away with it (street racing, loitering, trespass, etc.) Its like cops look the other way. Wish it was like that here. A lot of quick imports, Mustangs, Camaros, your usual Pro Street cars. Even saw an 18-wheeler cruising one night that was different.
