I like the get there early..I dont know about everyone else. It doesnt matter to me..

I didnt beat the 10.67, &nbsp;my best was a 10.74...and that was with a trunk load of s### i forgot about...2 garbage bags full of sega games to sell, a 2 ton floor jack, etc..i had all that in my trunk that night..if that wasnt inthere, i would have easily beat a 10.67..:)...he only got a 10.67 stripped down!! i got a .74 fully loaded and then some..:)...

oh so youre saying race cars are only fast b/c theyre stripped?

its easier to get a better time w/ less weight. but not all stripped cars are fast, look at clemson's RX-7. &nbsp;stripped down pretty far and its still slow as s### (but its a decent autocrosser)

nah..i didnt say theonly reason cars are fast is cause they are stripped....i would rather have seats and have my car looking nice and lose .1 of a sec...many cars are fast not stripped...i was just saying that my car had lots of stuff and allens was stripped and he only gained .7 of a second on me...thats all...i am ready to go back but i got to work this thur...sucks..

I've never stripped my car other than the spare tire and lug wrench and it didnt seem to help but I guess if you got good traction it might. &nbsp;Reducing reciprocating mass seems like it would help you out a lot more reducing weight and being able to rev a lot faster. &nbsp;I heard somewhere reducing 1 lb. is like 7 lbs. dead weight. &nbsp;Lets see, lightweight flywheel, underdrive pulleys, carbon fiber driveshaft, weld rims, cross drilled rotors. &nbsp;That should reduce more drag than a lot of dead weight.
