I'm not just talking about blacks, but I have a few Indian friends that hate the cold.

Does it have to do with dark colors absorbing, yet radiating the most amount of heat?

I know a bunch of filipinoes that live in Alaska.

They are dark skinned, and hate the heat. A couple of them came here this summer and where bitching about 80 degree weather being way too hot.

With you being in Cali, I think its just what kind of weather they are used to.

Skin had to get dark for a reason... :D

Most are used to warm temperatures, so when introduced with colder climates it's quite uncomfortable...

I adapt to wherever I am, personally... I don't really have that sorta issue, since most people that know me always say that I feel so cold when they touch my skin...

My friend Boxer is like that. Always hating the cold.
Last year he drove with my in my 1st gen to Rotorfest in June. My A/C doesn't work, and I was bitchin the whole ride up cause it's too hot and he's bitchin to roll the windows up cause it's too cold...

I don't really have that sorta issue, since most people that know me always say that I feel so cold when they touch my skin...
