Cosby 03-05-2008, 02:24 PM Why isn't there a heaven for animals? Do they go to hell or do they just stop existing? Cosby 03-05-2008, 03:22 PM See, now that's f'd. The animals are totally getting screwed over. I'm not a tree hugger but I think animals totally get screwed on that deal. BATMAN 03-05-2008, 03:47 PM http://biblia.com/jesusbible/elijah-chariot-8.jpg Looks like an animal there...... one that is hung like a horsey..... Booyah 03-05-2008, 04:02 PM What about sleepnir?! Tofuball 03-05-2008, 04:16 PM I don't think you quite grasp what Heaven is :P Tofuball 03-05-2008, 04:17 PM What about sleepnir?! BTW, it's Sleipnir. Now hush up before you make Odin mad. :P czarofzar 03-05-2008, 06:53 PM iaw revelations, and frankly not sure why god needs any help, but whatever, theres white horse plenty in heaven waiting to be unleashed upon earth as jesus and his angels slaughter the hapless humans. I guess the deal is you have to see who is lopping your head off. Oh, I would be honered if it was the loving jesus. Wow, I couldn't understand that at all, are you letting honegod post under your SN? :-p Ark2 03-05-2008, 07:09 PM Wow, I couldn't understand that at all, are you letting honegod post under your SN? :-p That's exactly what I thought. Maybe they're really the same person? 95whitepep 03-05-2008, 07:41 PM John Calvin: "Condemnation of mankind is imprinted on the heavens, and on the earth, and on all creatures. It also appears to what excelling glory the sons of God shall be exalted; for all creatures shall be renewed—not partakers of the same glory but according to their nature shall be participators of a better condition, for God will restore to a perfect state the world, now fallen, together with mankind" 95whitepep 03-05-2008, 08:46 PM I believe he's talking about the restoration of the earth in the Kingdom there, not the eternal, spiritual state You believe??? You believe??? Come on, he's the founder of everything that you believe in and you don't even know his viewpoint that indeed animals have a spirit? Or do you want to get into the differences between the KJV and the NIV again on this issue? Booyah 03-05-2008, 08:46 PM My mistake, but Odin is a kind and compassionate type of folk, Im sure he forgives me. 95whitepep 03-05-2008, 08:58 PM there is no Biblical basis for the idea that animals possess souls, in fact quite the opposite Yes there is...let me school you once again then: LUKE 3:6 KJV 'And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.' NIV 'And all mankind will see God's salvation.' Uh oh....looks as though we have an issue here KJV says that all doggies will go to heaven, NIV says a completely different thing. ECCLESIASTES 3:19-20 KJV 19For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. NIV 19 Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath [a] ; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Oh no YZF, how do explain this one? rtryb2200 03-07-2008, 09:48 PM Sure there is it is called 'going over the rainbow bridge' http://www.petloss.com/poems/maingrp/rainbowb.htm wherethelionsweep 03-25-2008, 10:00 AM I have a cat who died recently, he was living somewhere else and they couldn't find him. I woke up one day and saw him brushing up against my leg, he had been looking for me. He was born with a stub of a tail and was 3 yrs old, but when i saw him he was a young kitty with a whole long tail. An indian named Red Elk believes that there are separate heavens for all animals, fish, and even insects. |
