Why isn't there a heaven for animals? Do they go to hell or do they just stop existing?

See, now that's f'd. The animals are totally getting screwed over. I'm not a tree hugger but I think animals totally get screwed on that deal.

I have a cat who died recently, he was living somewhere else and they couldn't find him. I woke up one day and saw him brushing up against my leg, he had been looking for me.
