It's not the sole reason, of course. However, concentrating on these social issues and the civil liberties of other countries is why they lost. Thanks to GWB. And let's not forget Mark Foley and Ted Haggard. Right wing gay buttsecks hypocrites. :owned:

It's pretty bad when members of your own party blame you. I remember hearing the other day from a conservative congressman on tv that republicans need a "Good hard spank". Well some republicans may have taken that to heart, as some like getting spanked and enjoy buttsecks with the same sex. So much for gay marriage. Gay adultery is the way to go!

Even that guy said that the GOP deserved to loose. The GOP took control of the white house, Senate, and House and had a good number of years to do something with regards to our finances.
