there aren't two different blast patterns, both of the patterns originate from the same spot on the floor and seem to radiate out at the similar velocities. Looks to me like it went both directions because of the way her face split. It could also be that one of her arms was in front of her face when she landed deflecting the blood to either side instead of a full fan spread out from the impact point. Or it could be a simple reason such as the first thing to contact (forehead mayhap) didn't rupture and it took more pressure to build before it finally did rupture and it ruptured on the opposite sides.

There are 2 massive chunks of brain that blew apart. One part hit some barrier and slide along side. The other one just ejaculated a few feet from the skull.

BTW, for that amount of blood to spew out, instead of spilling out in a blood pool, she must have had some good blood pressure going on her way down.
