I recently ditched Vista for Window 7, and I'm liking it. It's like a mix of XP and Vista, without all of Vista's bullshit. Normally, Vista needed 1k+MB of RAM just to run, where-as Windows 7 needs slightly more than 700MB. Honestly, I wanted XP, but I couldn't find anyone with a boot disk...but Bastard from RX7Club burned me a copy of 7, so I was grateful just to have a decent OS.

So, is anyone else using it?

Shit Wonner you should have posted on here that you were looking for XP, I have a sick version I run on all my computers now that is stripped and passes WGA validation.

As far as 7 goes Im gonna wait till it has a little more support and get one of the versions on the warez sites to try.

Well, the problem was I couldn't burn anything for myself. I just wanted to find somebody local to get a disk from.

Word on the street is that Windows 7 Beta will expire on it's own on Aug. 1st. I might need you to ship me that CD after all. :D

Yup its only a beta, now you can find a hacked version of 7 with no expiration. Do you have broadband speed internet now? If you do I'll hook you up with a link to working copy of XP to download. If not I'll burn you a copy and mail it, lemme know.

I do have broadband...but I'm not sure if I'm computer-savvy enough to burn it on to a disk. I have problems burning .iso files.:freak:

Download Nero.
Install Nero.
Open Nero.
Hit File>Burn Image, select .iso file.
???
PROFIT.

Seriously, get nero, and me or someone else will walk you through, it's cake.
