Supper 01-25-2009, 10:07 PM Just wondering if any of you worked anywhere interesting today, and I mean as in other then your normal work locations... Supper 01-25-2009, 10:18 PM nah man, I'm really just curious. If I wanted to pull a Batman I would have just posted up. Ark2 01-25-2009, 10:39 PM Seeing as how it is a Sunday, no. I didn't even get out of bed until after 12. Supper 01-25-2009, 10:43 PM fuck... forgot its sunday... Animal 01-25-2009, 10:56 PM I gave my dog a bath. wotnartd 01-26-2009, 01:23 AM On Sunday, I went with my girlfriend and dropped her stuff off for her 2nd term of college. Then we went out for a little date and had funnel cake and sushi. RyanFlemington 01-26-2009, 01:28 AM in that order? wotnartd 01-26-2009, 01:34 AM in that order? Yep, the day went in that order. The food did as well. We were at the mall, just wandering around being all in love and whatnot, and saw a place in the food court had funnel cakes, so we got one. Having hardly eaten that day, we were wondering what we would eat next, and right behind me she pointed out, was a sushi place (in a food court no less! WTF?!) so we got 12 spicy tuna rolls, and they were damn good, and like $6 USD. It's my new favorite mall, as the one closer to me (larger, though) doesn't have a cinema in it, and has no sushi. Tofuball 01-26-2009, 07:19 AM On Sunday, we got the pegboard install finished up, more prep work for capping the last two walls in my basement - hopefully in one solid pour even though it has three steps. I would be able to finish the prep work (driving the rebar into the foundation) if I had a hammer drill with a working collet. Turbo II Rotor 01-26-2009, 05:04 PM I'm off on the weekends. Supper 01-26-2009, 09:49 PM I'm off on the weekends. most people are. Like I said, I forgot it was sunday... So, how about today? Queen 01-27-2009, 01:28 AM eugh I don't know, when I'm in the mood for it I just want enough so that I'm not hungry anymore.. then I'm done with it Ark2 01-27-2009, 04:05 PM but how much sushi can you really handle at one time? A lot. wotnartd 01-27-2009, 04:33 PM FTW all you can eat sushi is the best It wasn't all you can eat, though. :( but how much sushi can you really handle at one time? I bet I could do two dozen rolls, provided they weren't all the same. Ark2 01-27-2009, 05:54 PM I actually put a sushi restaurant out of business last week. Animal 01-27-2009, 09:28 PM So, how about today? Left at 1545 to go pick up some clamps that the supply shop neglected to ship. I *need* these clamps. Steel 01-29-2009, 12:27 AM In front of my computer... beginning to learn Matlab. It's a bit daunting. Anyone experienced in matlab willing to help? fcdrifter13 01-29-2009, 01:15 AM I just stuffed 17 campers, into an auditorium with balloons, banners tables and all for a RV show. Shit is packed. Ill have pics later in the morning maybe. We did have to lift a 16' hybrid over top of 2 other campers to get it into place. wotnartd 01-29-2009, 06:22 AM I'm just working a lot these next couple weeks. Supper 01-29-2009, 11:36 PM desk jobs blow. Same set of walls every day. Teenwolf1393 01-30-2009, 02:42 AM It wasn't all you can eat, though. :( I bet I could do two dozen rolls, provided they weren't all the same. 2 dozen rolls??? god damn thats 144 PIECES of sushi. are you sure you dont mean pieces. wotnartd 01-30-2009, 06:12 AM 2 dozen rolls??? god damn thats 144 PIECES of sushi. are you sure you dont mean pieces. I guess I meant pieces. I suppose two dowzen full on non cut sushi rolls would be quite a bit. But I'd be willing to take a stab at it. Tofuball 01-30-2009, 06:46 AM I wouldn't mind trying. Queen 01-30-2009, 04:03 PM lol I can take out 16 pieces normally without really being full.. you're a wuss wotnartd 01-30-2009, 04:32 PM desk jobs blow. Same set of walls every day. Warehousing. I'd rather have a desk job. Steel 01-30-2009, 06:50 PM amazing how *some* petite women can chow down and not get pudgy, must be genetics Not much fat in sushi/sashimi though. And of what there is, its good fish fat. Now if queen chowed down 16 whoppers... then not even genetics could stop that. Queen 01-30-2009, 07:48 PM I don't like burgers http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/mad/mad0265.gif 95whitepep 01-30-2009, 07:53 PM I thought Queen was a Subway girl.... Animal 01-31-2009, 12:04 AM In front of my computer... beginning to learn Matlab. It's a bit daunting. Anyone experienced in matlab willing to help?It sucks. Maple's not much better. you people are some of the most boring people I know.......I have about 12 sheets of paper sitting in a locked drawer at my desk. Those 12 sheets of paper (and 1 jumbo paper clip) are directly involved with a 7-figure lawsuit the company's involved in. The president/CEO was in my office for about 2 hours today going over tests and electrical/electrochemical possibilities for the behavior of our product. That is probably the largest sum of money I've ever been directly involved with, and the results of my testing and the reports I'll write afterwards could dramatically affect the company's bottom line for this year. Looks like I'll be at the office at some really strange times for a while. Usually show up around 0900, stick around till 1800-ish, depending on what i'm doing.... Go home, eat, masturbate, feed the dog, fuck around online... then around 2200 I go back to the office to do more work. I can only automate so much, and what I can't I go in for... when tests take 12hrs+ (one i'll be working on next week will probably be closer to 18-24hrs per run), I like to keep them running as much as possible throughout the day. Sure, it may be the same walls I look at all day... but I get some really fucked up stuff inside those walls sometimes. Supper 01-31-2009, 12:13 AM man, thats fucked up. BTW, I will always rib people about working in offices. Always have, always will. Steel 01-31-2009, 03:05 AM It sucks. Maple's not much better. Agreed, but it's important to know. function [Steel]= matlab(annoyed) and so on... |
