Just need to get all the Yanks down to Flordia before it happens. Supper 03-27-2006, 11:18 AM awesome. I'd still be high and dry, bring it on. BATMAN 03-27-2006, 11:36 AM I've always wanted to see what's buried under all that ice. Atlantis? UFOs? Manntis 03-27-2006, 11:36 AM s not the rising water that's actually a concern, it's the weather patterns making life rough in the short term, and the death of plants unable to adjust causing changes in the oxygen levels of the atmosphere making life even rougher in the long term. RX7_2ner 03-27-2006, 03:58 PM I've always wanted to see what's buried under all that ice. Atlantis? UFOs? atlantis is by bermuda, duh. ComradeGiant 03-27-2006, 04:07 PM Sweet! The return of Lake Clyde! Thats the name of the inland sea that the California central valley used to be. BATMAN 03-27-2006, 04:19 PM atlantis is by bermuda, duh. If we knew that for sure we would have found it by now......... ComradeGiant 03-27-2006, 05:29 PM It would have been found by skinny dipping yuppies on their yearly vacation. cool3865 03-27-2006, 10:37 PM looks like Austin, TX is still dry Zero 03-27-2006, 11:40 PM best thread ever by batman. Manntis 03-28-2006, 12:06 AM it's a proven fact the poles were once fairly temperate: mammoths have been found encased in ice, with plants still in their mouths! more evidence of the global flood which produced the ice age, about 4300 years ago uh - that doesn't mean the arctic tundra was temperate; it means they froze quickly. They were wolly mammoths for a reason - too keep warm. If the North pole was 'temperate' it'd be pretty wet, since there's no land under that ice - just ocean. ComradeGiant 03-28-2006, 12:13 AM A global flood would not have caused them to be gently encased in ice with food in their mouths either. A global flood would have ripped the flesh from them. meddle 03-28-2006, 12:14 AM looks liekm st. louis would be on the beach! I'm all for this. Manntis 03-28-2006, 12:53 AM I stand corrected by AIG, my apologies :) Corrected by me, actually, but the effect is the same. Apology accepted. |
