Nice clean car. I like the fact that those cars only claim 170 hp to the flywheel but they make a solid 150 to the front wheel stock.
Drop that motor into a 92 hatchback and you're flying, the prelude looks better though.

not sure bout the 150 to the wheels...def. not my car though..auto, its slow...if you did drop in the H23a1 into a hatch, it would be pretty quick...but a H22 into a hatch is plain nasty..ive seen them run high 13s with a bone stock H22...

Yeah you know the car you hate, the one you know nothing about, the import with the lawnmower engine that really pisses you off. It is bone stock, has a 150 lb competition sound sysem, heavy 3 piece 18x10 inch rims with 265/35/18 tires, and 100,000 miles on the motor and turbos. It runs 13.5 seconds in the quater mile @ 100 mph and 4.9 seconds 0-60. I would say that is roughly a mid 8 second 1/8 mile. What do you think? That is my daily driver, my project car is a 1988 Mazda RX7 Turbo II, it ran 12.6 @ 109 mph with the stock motor, turbo and intercooler at 10 psi. Since then I have spent $10000 on the car and it now runs low 12s on street tires and low boost and high tens on drag radials and high boost. A similar car ran low 6s in the 1/8 mile although I don't waste my time on that redneck shit. What's up FD Pilot. I just had to ring in on this one. I love the rotary engine and there's more ppl here that know about them than u think. I've been driving the old school rotarys since the late 80's. My current daily driver is a '75 808 which is the piston engine version of the RX3 and yes I did do the conversion. It was running engine and tranny from an '83 GSL. I say was because it's been sitting for a year now from loosing an apex seal. Only performance mods I had was the RB intake and Holley carb. I did however have to do a little modification to the tranny to get it to fit, moving the shifter forward aprox. 4 inches, I didn't want to have to cut the floor. Unfortunatly, my financial situation doesn't allow me to spend thousands of dollars on my car so it's not much of a looker but thanx to tax refunds, I am finally able to get the engine that I've been waiting years to rebuild done. I am a machinist, and as time and money allow, I will be doing brake upgrades like rear disc.

Yes my car is stock and I am proud of the way it runs not that it's stock.

Many FD's are not twin turbo, since about 50% run single turbo conversions.

My other car is not stock, it's very fast and the $10,000.00 includes modifications other than the $3000 it took to make 500 hp.

I don't think my cars are special, but I like them a lot.

Just because you can buy an FD for $15,000.00 does not mean that you can afford to drive it (Maintanace, gas, insurance, repairs). So the reason so few have it is because they are either ignorant and they buy it and cannot afford to keep it on the road, or smart and broke.

I like all cars, but when I am attacked I get defensive. Also I have my preference and since the 93 Base model RX7 is faster than the 93 C4, Cobra, and Z28 (FACT) and more rare (1500 produced)
and more beautiful (come on), I feel lucky to be one of the 500- (some are totaled) 94-95 FD drivers with a clean car with all options and nice classy extras.
