Zero 04-13-2009, 12:56 PM I realize that the majority of you couldn't give a drop of piss about what happens on these little random situations I get in... but per a couple of members requests, I present to you what happened AFTER the weekend at about 1 am sunday night/monday morning... after climbing out of the wreckage: http://i41.tinypic.com/5btv6p.jpg DarkAngelKamui 04-13-2009, 01:19 PM Rock it till the wheels fall off, or in this case go vertical. Hey, at least you had good company along with. lol Steel 04-13-2009, 01:32 PM It'll buff out. Zero 04-13-2009, 01:36 PM Suprisingly... due to that whatever-the-fuck-its-for-rack... the body damage is very minimal compared to what it could be. 95whitepep 04-13-2009, 01:51 PM I realize that the majority of you couldn't give a drop of piss about what happens on these little random situations I get in... but per a couple of members requests, I present to you what happened AFTER the weekend at about 1 am sunday night/monday morning... after climbing out of the wreckage: http://i41.tinypic.com/5btv6p.jpg Jeez zero...thats you? Shit, we could pass for brothers.... Steel 04-13-2009, 03:00 PM That looks like one hell of a rack. My boss had something similiar, all schedule 40 SS welded. I swear it was stronger than the truck. Zero 04-13-2009, 03:06 PM Oh it saved the roof and my ass probably... at first glance after getting it out, the worst part of the truck looks like the drivers side where we were walking around on it... probably easily fixed. I really don't think there's any serious damage... I guess we'll see. It's a 12v cummins btw... lifted pretty big, I think 6+ inches on suspension. 1revnrex 04-13-2009, 03:17 PM Part it out and send me the front bumper, I fucked mine up a few months ago trying to get across a ditch that had apparenly been dredged by the county the weekend before. Zero 04-13-2009, 03:29 PM Dude that owns it is the manager over the parts and service dept a dodge dealership... I doubt that's going to happen... 1revnrex 04-13-2009, 04:30 PM FAIL ZERO, fail. :D rtryb2200 04-13-2009, 04:38 PM at least you walked away without any scratches or an ambulance ride like I did 5 years ago... Cosby 04-13-2009, 05:28 PM baby truck. Zero 04-13-2009, 05:48 PM baby truck. lift laws are very strict here... they don't hesitate to impound either. So, just got a picture message and talked to the owner... he said amazingly, no body damage. (It had been raining here and the ground was soft.) It did crack the cage thing and screw up most of the suspension under the front, but the body is fine. Truck: 1, Creek: 0. wonner 04-13-2009, 06:21 PM The 'cage thing' is called a ladder rack. You tie ladders to it. Fendamonky 04-13-2009, 06:25 PM Moar pics of girl! wonner 04-13-2009, 06:30 PM Speaking of the girl... is that your co-worker? Steel 04-13-2009, 06:58 PM lift laws are very strict here... they don't hesitate to impound either. Good, I can't stand seeing that super lifted trucks driving around that will take my head off if they ever t-bone me. God forbid one ever hits me on my bike. wotnartd 04-13-2009, 08:32 PM Good, I can't stand seeing that super lifted trucks driving around that will take my head off if they ever t-bone me. God forbid one ever hits me on my bike. I've only driven small cars, and every time I see a lifted truck, I get a little afraid, moreso in the 7s. In my FB, I was at a local Wal Mart, and in a parking spot, I was staring at a foglight on a bumper. If that truck hit me, I would be dead. Frightening. Zero 04-13-2009, 09:21 PM If a tractor-trailer hits your ass, you're probably going to die due to the same principle... are you prepared to skyrocket shipping costs, thus skyrocketing consumer-goods costs to have everything shipped in cars your size? Welcome to nazimerica. rtryb2200 04-13-2009, 09:27 PM bumper laws in WI are rarely inforced...when I wrecked min I think the bottom of my rear bumper was about 27" off the ground $100T2 04-13-2009, 09:30 PM lift laws are very strict here... they don't hesitate to impound either. Zero 04-13-2009, 10:17 PM So, were you driving it? Is he pissed? Other than that, awesome! No sir... I was riding, he was driving. I think the most damage was done to the coach purses. wotnartd 04-13-2009, 10:47 PM If a tractor-trailer hits your ass, you're probably going to die due to the same principle... are you prepared to skyrocket shipping costs, thus skyrocketing consumer-goods costs to have everything shipped in cars your size? Welcome to nazimerica. Bumpers on trailers are.... gosh I have to check at work. 18in, I think. |
