We have a no gift policy starting in my family but I think I'm still gonna get my mom something. One of those headband earwarmer things old lady's like to walk with and a nice bottle of vodka I think.

It's nice not having to worry about finding little shit for everyone this year.

On the home front I'm building up a sweet hardtail mountain bike for my girlfriend. She already had a full susspension bike she loves so I don't know how much she'll ride it (hopefully around town and such). But I really like the frame and couldnt resist buying it.

what are yall getting for people? and have you got it yet?

'98 schwinn homegrown factory. Made in the USA by Yeti when schwinn owned them. Bad aaaassssss bikes! got full easton carbon stuff and a fox fork for it.

You still stickin with 29er stuff? hard to beat that fisher for the money.

I loved the 29'er this year....kicks ass on the pavement although the single tracks we have were kinda tight in some places and tough to get going up an incline after a sharp corner. I really want to upgrade somethings this year though. I went clipless at the same time I switched to the 29'er and got pretty beat up.

I have to buy new tires already so those will be my first purchase...

Damn, yeah I had fun switching to clipless too.!
