$100T2 02-18-2006, 07:17 PM I never was able to work out a deal on a new car, and tonight, one of my control arms shit the bed, so now I get to replace that. Why couldn't it have happened last week when it was 55 degrees? Now, it's 15 with a windchill bringing it below zero. Fuck Audi. Manntis 02-19-2006, 02:13 AM I like audis. I just had a mechanic look it over to see if it needed anything, and told him to specifically check the ball joints/control arms on the passenger front, he said they were "fine". Then, two weeks later, shot. I knew one of them was going bad. Manntis 02-19-2006, 05:36 PM Could have been the mech. I had my 'tona to get a front end alignment. They claimed I'd a loose ball joint. Later, the whole front end collapsed due to a rotten K-frame. The ball joints were fine, but the fucknut tech saw slop and just assumed ball-joint rather than the rusted, bending K frame right above him on the hoist. $100T2 07-11-2006, 12:06 AM I still say "Fuck Audis!" |
