So this will be my first without the folks.
GFs are both going to be outta town with their families.
Anyone go to the bar or Hooters or something borderline naughty for gooble gooble day?
Ideas?

BATMAN 11-24-2008, 04:49 PM My folks are still in China until the 5th of Dec. So this will be my first without the folks. GFs are both going to be outta town with their families. Anyone go to the bar or Hooters or something borderline naughty for gooble gooble day? Ideas? Vert8813B 11-24-2008, 04:54 PM I'm tasked with spending time with my family+girlfriends family. GFs family owns a restaurant and I always get stuck helping her asshole brother out on holidays. Free food and drink though, so I guess I can't complain too much. I feed face and get drunk while GF eats celery and ranch dressing. Anorexic whore IMO. wotnartd 11-24-2008, 04:57 PM I have to work. Ark2 11-24-2008, 05:44 PM Do Chinese people celebrate Thanksgiving? Animal 11-24-2008, 08:21 PM I will be violently raping and torturing leprechauns. It's going to be fucking hilarious. wonner 11-24-2008, 11:59 PM Going to my mother-in-laws. Should be a blast. I spent many T-Days alone when I was a bachelor. Tittie bars usually have special events. Sassy 11-25-2008, 07:56 AM i will be spending Thanksgiving with my family & inlaws!! Gotta love eating twice...kills the stomach & you just want to sleep afterwards!! I'm excited for Friday after thanksgiving shopping though!! oakback 11-25-2008, 08:00 AM I have divorced parents and a lot of family that lives in town, so I usually have multiple invites. But I refuse to drive to 3 or 4 different events in the day (same goes for Christmas). My mom invited us first, so we'll be going to her house for grubulizing some turkey. My in-laws will probably attend as well (they're cool though, I love my in-laws). I'm sure sometime during the day I'll get a last-minute invite to go have dessert at an uncle's house or something, that usually happens. Sassy 11-25-2008, 08:01 AM I'm glad you like yours..mine drive me friggin nuts..especially lately..i just want to choke my mil!! Tofuball 11-25-2008, 08:14 AM I like my in-laws. My wife's dad is great, and her mom is super-nice, though a tad nuts. Gabberguy 11-25-2008, 08:16 AM I don't celebrate thanksgiving, instead I have a law exam that day, woho... Sassy 11-25-2008, 08:17 AM i can deal with a tad nuts..my mil always has to be the center of attention with any type of illness she can think of so that her sons (my husband & his 3 brothers) do everything for her, which drives me absolutely nuts!! Tofuball 11-25-2008, 08:32 AM I was understating it. She's full blown paranoid skitzo. But she is very nice :) oakback 11-25-2008, 08:42 AM My in-laws have been very generous. Gave us a house, living room furniture, and they bought and renovated the house across the street; so they're almost always available to baby sit (now that my son's older...when he was a baby, they didn't baby sit much). My mil is the typical "old southern woman", cooks from scratch, bend-over-backwards friendly, sews quilts. My fil is disabled, but somehow gets a whole lot done. Also extremely friendly and jovial. He's the type of guy to make friends with the checkout person at the grocery store. Sassy 11-25-2008, 08:44 AM mine really do not babysit too often..she used to keep her 2 days a week, but once she wasn't an infant anymore & started moving around, my mil couldn't handle her..i think they've babysat her once.. czarofzar 11-25-2008, 08:58 AM we are cooking it and eating it and inviting whom ever wants to have some of it. Sassy 11-25-2008, 09:06 AM I'll have some of it..and i'll bring dessert! Tofuball 11-25-2008, 09:16 AM I can't make it to your dinner, just fax me the leftovers. Sassy 11-25-2008, 09:23 AM can't i just shoot it to you in a memo?? Tofuball 11-25-2008, 09:31 AM I thought czar was making the dinner? Sassy 11-25-2008, 09:37 AM yes, but you can't have leftover dinner w/out leftover desserts now can ya? Tofuball 11-25-2008, 09:43 AM I'll take that memo now plz. Sassy 11-25-2008, 09:47 AM you can't have it now..it's not Thanksgiving & i didn't make the dessert yet silly!! you'll have to wait like the rest. czarofzar 11-25-2008, 12:05 PM well, um, did someone just say they were coming over for thxgvn? I'll let my wife know that Ive invited a chick from the intanetz over. that'll make a very interesting thxgvn for sure. rtryb2200 11-25-2008, 12:43 PM I will be hunting deer Sassy 11-25-2008, 12:50 PM i'm sure she'll love another female at the table with you..if it helps, i'll bring my adorable baby girl with me..nobody can be mad when shes around... czarofzar 11-25-2008, 01:32 PM my wife isn't stupid unfortunately. but she would certainly build a good case about me. dg123 11-25-2008, 02:39 PM I will be eating nothing but mashed potatoes, gravy, and other similar foods unfortunetly :( Sassy 11-26-2008, 08:17 AM Mashed potatoes are good :) wonner 11-26-2008, 08:30 AM You guys fail. BATMAN will be alone for Thanksgiving and is asking for some ideas for something to do. Instead, you're all gloating about family plans. If you don't mind having turkey with a bunch of round-eyes, you can come over to my mother-in-laws. No hot snatch will be there though. |
