My folks are still in China until the 5th of Dec.

So this will be my first without the folks.

GFs are both going to be outta town with their families.

Anyone go to the bar or Hooters or something borderline naughty for gooble gooble day?

I'm tasked with spending time with my family+girlfriends family. GFs family owns a restaurant and I always get stuck helping her asshole brother out on holidays. Free food and drink though, so I guess I can't complain too much. I feed face and get drunk while GF eats celery and ranch dressing. Anorexic whore IMO.

I have to work.

Do Chinese people celebrate Thanksgiving?

I spent many T-Days alone when I was a bachelor. Tittie bars usually have special events.

i will be spending Thanksgiving with my family & inlaws!! Gotta love eating twice...kills the stomach & you just want to sleep afterwards!! I'm excited for Friday after thanksgiving shopping though!!

I have divorced parents and a lot of family that lives in town, so I usually have multiple invites. But I refuse to drive to 3 or 4 different events in the day (same goes for Christmas). My mom invited us first, so we'll be going to her house for grubulizing some turkey. My in-laws will probably attend as well (they're cool though, I love my in-laws).

I'm sure sometime during the day I'll get a last-minute invite to go have dessert at an uncle's house or something, that usually happens.

I'm glad you like yours..mine drive me friggin nuts..especially lately..i just want to choke my mil!!

I like my in-laws. My wife's dad is great, and her mom is super-nice, though a tad nuts.

I don't celebrate thanksgiving, instead I have a law exam that day, woho...

i can deal with a tad nuts..my mil always has to be the center of attention with any type of illness she can think of so that her sons (my husband & his 3 brothers) do everything for her, which drives me absolutely nuts!!

My in-laws have been very generous. Gave us a house, living room furniture, and they bought and renovated the house across the street; so they're almost always available to baby sit (now that my son's older...when he was a baby, they didn't baby sit much).
My mil is the typical "old southern woman", cooks from scratch, bend-over-backwards friendly, sews quilts.
My fil is disabled, but somehow gets a whole lot done. Also extremely friendly and jovial. He's the type of guy to make friends with the checkout person at the grocery store.

mine really do not babysit too often..she used to keep her 2 days a week, but once she wasn't an infant anymore & started moving around, my mil couldn't handle her..i think they've babysat her once..

we are cooking it and eating it and inviting whom ever wants to have some of it.

I'll have some of it..and i'll bring dessert!

You guys fail. BATMAN will be alone for Thanksgiving and is asking for some ideas for something to do. Instead, you're all gloating about family plans.
