a few you probably remember OPENSHOT on rx7club (alex-7 might remember) with his broken down fb. hes some 15 year old canadian taht doesnt speak much english (""i wan speeker that go move move with you put bass on them, what are the called?"). well he posted something in the 1st gen section about "what motor" he should put in his fb ("v6? v8?")... well we found out he also wanted ricer stuff like "speekers that go move when you put bass on them" and "put on turbo on my engine so i can do donuts in parking lot to show off to friend and teacher"... he also posted a pic of him next to his fb with "The Wicked" on the picture... so ya know, i flamed him (only 2-3 posts) and bumped his stupid thread for him. all of this happened yesterday night. well today i got a PM at around 3pm from rx7carl warning me to stop harassing openshot. well i didnt reply to it since i wasnt goign to do shit. heh... guess what, within 5 minites i got another PM from rx7carl saying i "posted more insults about openshots after" he "just warned me"... WTFFFF?!!? i didnt post shit about openshot since yesterday night?! well i went AFK and returns ~30minites later to type my response to his PM saying i didnt do anything. well guess what, after i clicked reply i got a 404 error message... tried rx7club.com with aol...nothing... tried rx7club.comwith mozilla... nothing... heh, fucking nazi mods dont know how to read date and time. and im IP BANNED

edit: it also might be because someone made a new sn about opensh0t asking "what kidna underwear should i wear? my dad is gona help me choose can you guys help?" IIRC... i absolutely did not make that or had anything to do with it. i found out about it through tranquil when he asked if it was me... i said no...

As people have found out, for 500+ horsepower a single turbo is required.

I've never seen a legitimate dyno sheet for that car, and the "dyno chart" on their site was obviously A) generated in Excel, and B) isn't accurate from what I've seen of other 20B dyno sheets.

Why would people pony up $30k+ for a Banzai conversion if they knew they were only going to get ~350-380 RWHP? A heads and cam LS1 tops that easily, with better reliability, gas mileage, and less weight. Maybe that's why 20B FDs aren't as common as they might be and why there are an estimated 50 or more LS1 FD conversions in progress right now. :)

Boost? We'll have to see. Its a factory casting so it will eventually split in the valley around 600 hp. I won't be tuning the car. It'll be running a custom flashed ECU form a local HP turbosystems dealer. So when its on the dyno, we'll stop upping the boost as it approaches 600hp and the'yy burn the ecu. The goal is to get a few track days out of this engine this sumemr and build a real motor and an AEM in the fall/winter.
