so a girl died at my old work

i used to work at a water park here, and we had a wave pool. and it was really hot today, not sure on the temp and am too lazy to look right now. it was around the 30's, so it was busy as hell.
and today people just started screaming when the body of a 12 year girl was found floating around in the pool . i guess the lifeguards didnt see her. they tried to bring her back for quite a while but no dice.
the park of course was shut down, and noone was allowed to leave unitl questioned by the cops.
its reallly a shame that this happend though.
so here hoping and prayingthat she is in a better place.

Even so, mid-80's is NOT hot. Try 100 degrees with damn near 100% humidity for a week or two... THAT's hot!

But, that sucks about the girl....

oh man i would love that, i love the heat and didnt find it hot at alll.
considering though living on the east coast of canada, it was a pretty warm day compared to the rest.

I hate humidity more than dry heat.

Humidity is only good in the winter.

That's the number one thing I miss about the west coast is the low humidity. It's like a freaking jungle here in TN. I worked outside all day yesterday and I could ring water out of my hair and my clothes were soaked.

a person died at my work (3 years back maybe?)... started not feeling well... was told to sit in the medical room... she was left alone in there for like 30 mins or so... next thing you know, they find her collapsed on the ground... a guy that's an EMT here at work tried to help, but he said without a defib or drugs, there was nothing he could do...

after that, the company now has 2 defib machines per floor in the building...

I hear the lifeguards approached her before she collapsed. Any body else hear that story?
