Stuck behind sport bikes in winding roads
This happens to me a lot. Bikes can't corner. If they lay it down far enough to achieve the same lateral g force my FC or even SHO can comfortably endure, they risk going down if the pavement gets rough or they hit a patch of gravel.
Bikes can't corner, and the smart riders pull over when they see a high powered sports car reeling them in on a mountain road. It's just too predictable..... but sometimes they just don't get it. And I've only got 300 rwhp.

Uhhh, I don't know of any street driven FC that could keep up with me on my bike, much less any SHO vehicle. You're dealing with shitty riders.

Thats his point.
I know we have tons of them here, people who only ride when the weather is just turning perfect and then never again :P
They drive super slow everywhere and being stuck behind them on twisty roads SUCKS.

What makes you think I have any clue? What am I going to show them on my moped? :P
I'm not licensed yet.
EDIT: Or did you mean I should roll over them with my van? :P

No, he was saying that bikes can't corner in general. Not true.

isle of man pretty much shows how capable bikes really are with a good (well amazing in this instance) rider on it.

All you bikers are so high and mighty, I need to find that top gear vid of the 911 vs the sport bike on the track and the 911 winning.

Bikes have a huge advantage in acceleration due to their very high power:weight ratios. However, by design, a car handles better. A car has more rubber on the road, a lower center of gravity, and is already at full "lean" at corner entry. Bikes can "hide" their inability to corner using how fast they can accelerate out of them.
Also, sport bikes are much akin to racecars than sports cars, a sports car has to still make compromises for things like NVH.
And I agree, you can't beat a bike in terms of bang for the buck performance: $10K for a vehicle that will do 0-60 in under 4 seconds and get 40+ mpg is ludicrous.
All this being said, I'll stick with my car. Why?
1) Snow.
2)Drift. No, I don't do it intentionally, but when my ass slides out from underneath me, I'm not gonna lay my car down.
3)Passengers - I have a dog. Dogs don't ride bikes.
And I've been stuck behind a lot more sport bikes than they've been stuck behind me.

No one said high and mighty, we are just reciting the simple fact that there are VERY, VERY few street driven cars that would even touch a modern sportbike in terms of handling and acceleration. It's a fact Jack, deal with it. As many videos as you can show me of a car beating a streetbike, I can show you more showing the opposite.

No no, he has a DOG.
Smokey's head is bigger than the dog in the pic. He's almost as big as my Nighthawk.

I know you're smart enough to remember that the original point of this thread was that it takes more balls to push a sport bike on an average road than a sports car, hence most sane riders don't go all out on a sunday afternoon.
But for the sake of repetition, I'll bring it back up.
