Summer Progress - What have you done so far?

So far...New Timing belt, Cam Gears, Camshaft & Crankshaft Seals, Brake Rotors all around, No more sticky caliper, Parking Brake fixed, wheel studs, Struts, and my a/c works now . So the car is finally in working order mechanically. I fixed the power steering line myself. That was a 3 day workout on my Prelude.

As far as the aftermarket goes...
I'm not really a performance buff, but when it comes to audio, that's my specialty. Anyway, I finally got a chance to get some audio for free via a small sponsorship through Power Acoustik/Best Buy. All I had to do is buy the service/warranty plans for each item. So far I have:

2 P.A. Fubr 10" subs
2 P.A. 980/2 Amps
Optima Yellow Top Battery
New 120 Amp Alternator (Mr. Alternator in Spartanburg)
Building vented enclosure exactly to the sub specs for maximum SPL
120db SPL meter to test resonant frequency of the car.

In order for me to keep all this stuff for free, at the next competiton, I have to hit at least a 145dbs. Shouldn't be too hard with 1500 watts RMS of power.

Haven't gotten started on the In-Car PC project and probably won't go through with it til later. Probably will use my iPod instead to prevent the skipping issues I had before while in the Sound Lanes.

New Wheels will probably be in the works in the next month or so. And possibly a re-spray of paint to freshen up the car a bit.

Anyway, the show is August 8th here in Columbia, SC. It's a car show/car audio competition, so i'm not sure if you all would be interested, but it'll be a nice event if you're bored.

I'll need some new illstreet.net decals also, Chris So let me know how much $$$. That's if you wouldn't mind the promotion. I still have the old style decal.

I had purchased some Kicker L7 subs, but sold them for a $20 profit and haven't looked back.

I was bored...haven't been on in a while so I just wanted to kinda post what i'm doing. What have yooooooou been doing?

Just a few things...huh, lol

So your car is carbed? I didn't know that. Why not go with some webers instead of converting to MPFI?

My wheel of choice. Not the lightest wheel, not the heaviest. But it looks good. $599 with Nanking tires.
