Jan. we were still in the 7club boom. Feb people started to drop off bc advertising stopped while we waited on the forum to "settle" and get some policies in place. March we declared the people still here "regulars" and April I began moderate advertising again. Also, people started adding links to personal sites and other forums which has helped substantially with new registrations and SEP.
I think some credit is due to Zero for his efforts with youtube. Additionally, all of the others with big TFL sigs on other forums are a great help too (SNTP & co.). And Manntis for his links on his pages. I think 91lx has by far exceeded everyone for his gallery use which is great news bc they're watermarked with Queen's TFL image
March Search referrals:
- Google 407 407
- Google (Images) 352 510
- Yahoo 294 339
April Search referrals:
Yahoo 1045 1047
- Google (Images) 803 838
- Google 298 298
Big jump in yahoo and google images but a drop on google (probably due to the ip sharing with CFhoods.net which went WAY up) This probably means I need to enable the mod_rewrite for the gallery images again.
This is perhaps the most interesting stat...
The phrase "camel toe" accounted for 665 Searches which is 48.2% of all searches resulting in TFL. I guess we should be proud....
The domains are hogging system resources and although I don't think it is fair to move them yet, I don't think the current host cares enough about their customers to fix the daily crashes and excessive downtime due to the growth. Basically, with the growth of TFL and carbonfiberhoods.net (the two primary domains on this server) I'm going to HAVE to go dedicated and sell webspace on the server to help pay for the additional cost which is three to four times the current aggregate cost.
This will most likely happen in the next 2 weeks and downtime should be minimal but I do suspect you'll notice a great deal of bugs/glitches while I implement new features for donating members.
Thanks for all the work and let me know your thoughts, questions and suggestions in this thread.
